The Angel Vision Donor Program was the
brainchild of the late retired Master Sergeant Ezra C. Bell. He was
visually impaired himself and an early user of the LVES system. He had a
dream of helping children with the gift of sight. Initially, the Rotary
Club of Jupiter/Tequesta Sunrise was the only group involved and has helped
about 35 children.
Later the American Legion Auxiliary under
the presidency of Eleanore Kernagahan of Palm City got involved and helped about
15 or so other kids. Other organizations include the Palm Beach Gardens
Lion's Club, American Legion, and Fraternal Order of The Eagles and a few
private donors. Over 55 kids have been helped out of over 1500 visually
impaired Florida children. If you know a student that needs our help, or
if you would like to make a contribution to this program, email Dr. Hearing
(mrhearing@cs.com).

destroyed. She received an updated Jordy. Dr. Hearing has raised half the money

(888.482.9943).
